Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from the University of Colorado and has been a registered dental hygienist for over 18 years. Her patient care skills and experience include providing dental hygiene care and education within general dentistry and periodontal (gum, implant, and surgical) specialty offices. She recently completed her certification in the field of orofacial myology, which includes helping child and adult patients with everything from airway, snoring and sleep apnea issues to stroke recovery. She’s excited to be an important contributor to the amazing team and patients here at Dakota Ridge Dental!
Originally from the small town of Ririe, Idaho, Karen moved to Colorado to pursue her education at the University of Colorado and has been here ever since. Outside of work, you can find Karen enjoying time in the mountains with family and friends hiking, skiing, biking and snowshoeing, as well as in town attending the theater or curled up at home with a good book and her English Bulldog, Maggie.
